Content Marketer

Albacross is on a bold journey to change the global SaaS digital marketing landscape. Our mission is to democratize digital marketing for small and medium sized businesses, by turning our customers' web traffic data into valuable opportunities via a state of the art lead generation tool combined with hyper-targeted marketing.

We have great backers onboard, from experienced VC funds to investors with senior backgrounds from Spotify, Facebook and TrueCaller - all with rare experience of what it takes to build a one-of-a-kind tech company.

 

Experience in B2B Events, SaaS or tech business.

You will at least two years of experience writing for a B2B audience, ideally within the SaaS, Events or tech space. An understanding of Buying Personas and the role of content in the marketing and sales cycle is essential.

 

Outstanding written skills

You will understand how to produce outstanding written content that engages Albacross primary buying personas. The ability to develop and interpret project goals into valuable content is a must. We want to see your writing, the more examples you can share the better.

 

An eye for detail & a fresh perspective

The internet is full of terrible generic listicles and re-hashed blogs. You will rise above the noise, creating high value, useful content. Research, editing and quality checking skills are a must.

 

A roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-stuck-in attitude

The Content Marketer will operate within the Marketing department but will work closely with other teams to deliver copy as required. As a start up on a growth mission, not everything operates on a 9-5 basis. We are looking for someone that will embrace the journey, going the extra mile where required.

 

Experience with social media

It’s an important responsibility, the front-line of business communications, so we’d like to hear about your experience writing for, managing social media.



Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Marketing lifecycle stages (e.g. MQL, SQL)
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experience within ad copywriting (AdWords, Facebook etc)
  • Experience writing for senior Marketing and Sales professionals
  • Experience with PR
  • Experience working with video, script writing etc
